Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Executive Director, Madison County Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining the grounds of various county facilities and for organizing a wide variety of county-wide leisure activities such as youth football, cheerleading, wheelchair basketball, and for providing facilities for activities such as volleyball, walking, and fishing. The Department works with several outside non-profit groups to provide other sports and recreation events such as youth softball, youth baseball, BMX races, rodeos and horse shows, and historic reenactments.

Overview

The Madison County Parks and Recreation Department encourages each citizen to take advantage of the many recreational and leisure opportunities offered throughout Madison County.

A qualified and dedicated staff member is ready to assist you with a variety of ideas about leisure activities and facilities that are available through the county park system.

Vendors must pay by May 8th
Vendors can set up early in the Gym from 6pm-8pm May 11th
